Interests: Summer enjoys listening to podcasts on long walks with her dog, creativity through colourful home decor and spaces, joyful movement, delicious meals, and spending time with her family and friends.
I work with individuals who are looking for a space to slow down, feel understood, and move towards the most authentic version of themselves. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, openness, and support. My style is rooted in attachment and relational work, meaning we’ll focus on how your relationships, past and present, shape your experiences. Together, we’ll create a space that feels safe, connected, and nourishing, where you can explore painful patterns, build trust, and deepen your sense of self.
My goal is to help you expand your capacity for wholeness, so you can feel more ease, closeness, and connection in your life and relationships. Through attunement, understanding, regulation, and genuine care, we’ll work toward helping you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

I previously worked as an Infant Mental Health (IMH) therapist, a field dedicated to supporting the parent-child relationship and attachment. In this role, I worked closely with parents to explore difficult family patterns and generational trauma, helping them develop new approaches to parenting that foster connection, safety, and joy for both parent and child.
How This Helps in Individual Therapy:
I help clients identify and understand generational patterns and their impact on their emotional and relational life.
I guide clients in exploring past and present relationships to cultivate greater self-awareness and insight.
I support clients in building healthier ways of relating to others, establishing boundaries, and fostering connection, safety, and emotional well-being in their current relationships.
I bring curiosity, compassion, and practical tools learned from working with families to help adults navigate challenges, heal from past trauma, and create more fulfilling relationships.

Working as a school behavioral health consultant, I supported students and their families by advocating for their needs, assisting parents in preparing for IEP meetings, directing to educational rights resources, and helping families navigate the mental and emotional load of supporting a child with challenges at school. I also guided accommodations for children with neurodivergence, helping them thrive academically and emotionally.
How This Helps in Individual Therapy:
I support adults processing past school experiences or trauma related to learning differences.
I help parents navigate feelings of overwhelm, guilt, or stress related to supporting their children and understanding educational rights.
I guide clients in understanding how early experiences, family dynamics, and neurodivergent challenges influence current patterns and relationships.
I bring empathy, advocacy skills, and practical guidance to help clients feel empowered, supported, and capable of navigating challenges in life and relationships.

I have experience working in an outpatient setting with parents and children facing a wide range of challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, identity concerns, trauma, divorce, and family conflict. In this role, I supported parents in helping their children succeed, navigating co-parenting, and untangling complex family dynamics.
How This Helps in Individual Therapy:
I support adults in navigating family conflict, co-parenting challenges, and relational stress.
I help clients understand and process emotions related to identity, grief, and life transitions.
I guide clients in developing strategies to foster healthier relationships and emotional regulation including somatic practices.
I provide a compassionate, practical, and insight-driven space for growth, self-understanding, and healing.

As a medical social worker, I was on an integrated health team in a pulmonology clinic, supporting patients and families managing complex conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma, ventilator/tracheostomy care, and sleep disorders. In this role, I navigated the healthcare system alongside patients and caregivers, providing support around chronic illness, disability rights, insurance stress, and the emotional weight of long-term health challenges.
How This Helps in Individual Therapy:
I support adults and caregivers in coping with chronic illness, disability, and the stressors of the healthcare system.
I provide a compassionate space to process chronic grief, frustration, and the emotional impact of long-term health challenges.
I help clients build strategies for self-care, resilience, and effective advocacy in both medical and personal contexts.
I bring empathy, insight, and practical support to help clients feel empowered, heard, and supported through complex life circumstances.
